MEET CARL

I’ve written before about how my Kindness Card friends are always so generous. This experience really raises the bar.

My new friend Carl used cards to buy a few items from a convenience store, then insisted on sharing with me.

Think about that.

Obviously I never ask for anything in return. I don’t even require that recipients share their stories.

This hungry friend had so little, but was so anxious to share.

And yet some of us have so much, yet are so unwilling to do the same.

This moment is the heart and soul of this marvelous movement.
