MEET JT

I’ve had so many memorable experiences over the last month giving away Kindness Cards.

I met a man named JT, and thanks to you, we blessed him with a handful of meals. He asked for his pic to be taken as he rolled away.

He was especially thankful for some Little Caesar’s cards.

When you live in a homeless shelter like JT, pizza is a rare luxury. He was so excited for the chance that evening to share pizza with friends.

Think of that.

When you have resources, even if they’re meager, you’re sometimes in a position to buy breakfast or a burger for a buddy.

Almost all of us have had that rewarding experience.

But when you have nothing, no home, no transportation, nothing, you’re never going to be the one who says, “I got that,” as you reach for the check.

But because of our Leadership Circle and this movement, my new pal JT got to surprise his small circle of friends with a very special treat.

The ripples of this movement continue to surprise and inspire me.

And, as always, I’m as thankful as they are for your kindness.
